Former USC wide receiver Phil Kasten is taking over recruiting efforts for USC after being let go by the Trojans earlier this week.
Kasten was the first Trojan to take the job as the director of football operations, and USC had been looking to replace him after he left USC after the 2017 season.
Kornbluts job has come with a few changes as well.
USC is hiring a recruiting coordinator, which he will be responsible for overseeing recruiting efforts in Los Angeles, and he will oversee the hiring and recruiting of coaches.
USC will also begin recruiting the recruiting staff of its own staff, and will work with the coaching staff and staff at other schools to help the Trodons reach their recruiting targets.
Kosten said in a statement released on Friday that he will have a role in recruiting the Troodos football program, and that USC will use all of its resources to help USC reach its recruiting goals.
