Browns QB Josh Harnish is heading to the Titans, according to a report.
The Titans reportedly offered him a contract worth up to $10 million per season and a team option for 2018 worth up as much as $20 million.
Harnishes future is in doubt after his knee injury limited him to only four games.
He was the QB3 in a season-ending loss to the Jaguars in Week 6.
Rosen is expected to be a free agent after the season.
The Browns are hoping he can return to form in 2018, but that hasn’t been the case.
Sources: Josh Rosen and the Browns are both expected to head to Tennessee, per league source ESPN’s Adam Schefter: Cleveland has signed QB Josh Hartnett, a source tells ESPN.
Hartnetts contract will pay him $10M for 2018 and a $20M team option that could pay him up to four years.
This is an attempt to lure Rosen and Harnises future, as they are both projected to make more money with less cap space next season.
Source: Adam Schefters Browns are looking for QB Josh R. Hartns QB salary and a trade for QB Jake Rudock, sources told ESPN.
It would be worth a package of $10+M per year to lock up Rosen and $20+M if he were to depart.
I have no idea what this will do to the Browns, but it’s interesting to see how the team deals with a QB they have a history of signing in the past.
I’ve reached out to the team to confirm that.
Hartnell is a veteran who has spent time with the Bengals and Browns, and he could be a nice upgrade over Rudock.
Rudock was a second-round pick of the Bengals in 2017.
