Recruited Duke basketball players for a number of Duke programs including Duke, Florida, and North Carolina.
Duke is recruiting Voss, who has been with Duke since 2013, for at least the next year.
Recruitor Buddy Vosse, who is a recruiter with the Miami Hurricanes, is also a Duke alum.
Vossey was hired by Duke to work as a recruitor last year.
Duke declined to comment.
Duke’s recruitment efforts are well underway, as the Blue Devils have just completed a recruiting push to secure players from the University of Kentucky, Syracuse, Villanova, Kansas, Texas, Louisville, and other programs.
Voss’ job is to get Duke players to the university of their choice.
Duke has already hired a few recruits from Kentucky, and the Blue Devil’s recent move to hire a head coach from Kentucky is an obvious sign of intent.
Vonser, who played at Kentucky from 2008 to 2012, was a five-star recruit in the Class of 2015 and has the ability to play a wide variety of positions.
Duke recruited Vossoff at the end of last season and has continued to work with him on the recruiting trail.
The recruitment effort has gone far beyond just recruiting Duke players.
Duke also has hired Voss of Louisville and Kansas, two programs with a significant amount of ties to the Blue Dipper.
Kentucky has hired Duke basketball coach John Calipari as a consultant, as well.
Calipares relationship with the Blue Demons dates back to his time at Kentucky.
