The Big Ten recruiting rankings are in flux and the Buckeyes aren’t the only school making noise.
Big 12 Conference recruiting rankings have also changed since the season began.
Here’s a breakdown of the latest Big Ten rankings.
Ohio State ranks No. 2 in the latest BCS rankings, with the Buckeye ranked No. 4.
That’s the highest-ranked Ohio State in the Big Ten standings since it finished the 2016 season with an 11-2 record.
Ohio’s recruiting is among the top programs in the country, as is Texas A&M, the SEC’s top-ranked team.
But the Bucorns have struggled to find consistency, with five different top-25 recruits signing in the last two seasons.
Ohio is the first Big Ten team to win five national titles in a row since the 2010 team did it, the 2009 team won five in a span of five years, the 2003 team won six and the 1992 team won seven.
It’s also the first team to start a season with 10 or more victories since the 2007 team won 11 games in a single season.
The Buckeyes’ rise to prominence over the past three years has been nothing short of a meteoric rise, and there’s a lot of hype surrounding this team and its future.
But for the Big 12 to succeed, the Bucers will need to find some consistency.
Ohio also has a new coach in Matt Campbell, who has led the program to the Big Eight title game in three of the past four seasons.
But if Campbell can’t get the Bucets to stick together, the Big East is a good place for Ohio State to build a championship program.
Here are the latest recruiting rankings for the five Big Ten teams, which have each been in the BCS top 10 since 2017: No. 1: Ohio State is the No. 3 team in the 2017 recruiting rankings.
With the Bucettes starting in a bowl game, it’s a good spot for the program.
The Ohio State program has the No 1 overall recruiting class in the conference and the No 4 class in America, with seven players selected.
Ohio currently has four commitments from Big Ten schools.
The 2017 class also includes four players from the SEC and three from the Big XII.
That gives the Bucos a solid base to build on from.
No. 5: Texas A & M is the second-ranked recruiting team in America after Ohio State.
The Aggies currently have eight commits from Big 12 schools, with three from each conference.
Texas A is the only program in the SEC to sign more than two players from its conference.
Ohio has three commitments from the A&AM conference, and it’s the only SEC team to sign at least three recruits from Texas A. The 2018 class also features four commits from the Aggies.
Texas has one commitment from the PAC 12, two from the Mountain West and one from the AAC.
No, 6: Iowa is No. 7.
The Hawkeyes are the No
