After a three-year battle with ncaAS, Georgia Tech has landed a big piece of software: Recruitment Software, an app that helps Georgia Tech recruit new staff members.
The Georgia Tech announcement comes just days after Tech hired software giant Palantir to run the hiring of its 1.4 million employees.
“The software is a key piece of the Georgia Tech recruiting team,” Georgia Tech VP of recruitment Michael Biesecker told TechCrunch.
“It allows us to connect with our recruiters, our alumni, and the broader recruiting community and make sure we are recruiting the right talent at the right time.”
Recruiters and alumni who have used the software will be able to upload their resumes to the site.
The app also includes a recruiter portal that lets users upload profiles, create an online profile, and upload photos and videos of themselves.
The tool can be used to track recruiting events and to sign up for recruiters’ phone calls.
The company hopes that the recruitment software will help the school hire new hires more quickly.
It’s unclear how the program will work in practice, though Bieseecker said that Georgia Tech is considering offering the software to other institutions.
It will be available for download for free.
