By James C. Scott, USATSIMaryland has made its commitment to the space program after signing two recruits, with the most high-profile signing in the class of two players from a different state, as well as a high-level recruit from another state.
Maryland announced Saturday that it has selected five players from Maryland and one from Maryland-based school South Carolina, with Maryland State-Flagler quarterback and South Carolina running back Justin Robinson the other two, sources told The Baltimore Sun.
The school had already added three players from Missouri, with a commitment from defensive tackle Aaron Brown and two more from Maryland, according to sources.
The six recruits in the 2016 class are all top-25 recruits, according in the 247Sports composite rankings.
The Maryland-Mississippi State game is set for Sunday, Oct. 31, in Oxford, Mississippi, at 4:30 p.m.
ET, with kickoff scheduled for 4:45 p.s.
Marylands will play Mississippi State on Oct. 30, with home games against Auburn and Georgia in 2019 and 2021.
