Aaron Williamson has joined Miami Hurricanes head coach Larry Fedora as his new recruiting assistant.
Williamson was an offensive line coach at Westside Christian High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, before joining the Miami Hurricanes in January 2018 as a graduate assistant.
“Aaron is a good guy, he’s been a very good recruiter for us,” Fedora said in a press release.
“We’re excited to have him and we wish him all the best.”
Williamson will be responsible for coordinating recruiting efforts in addition to working closely with recruiting director Jonathon Johnson, who was previously a recruiting director at LSU.
Williamson’s first stint as an offensive coordinator at LSU included leading the Tigers’ offensive line for six seasons from 2015-17.
The Miami Hurricanes are looking for a new head coach after losing defensive coordinator Dave Aranda to Tennessee, and the hiring of interim coach and offensive line assistant Chris Lonsberry has not yet been announced.
